The hearing aid industry is evolving rapidly, and 3Shape has been a major player for many years but we keep pushing the limits for automating and optimizing the workflow of designing hearables.
You will join a highly skilled and motivated international team, where we are developing the next generation of service-oriented CAD/CAM Audio Solutions.
We are looking for C# Software Developer.
About the position: As a Software developer in 3Shape R&D you will play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions to our end-users and improving our hearing aid solutions in the years to come. You will work in a well-established cross-country agile team, and collaborate closely with dedicated Software Architects, Product Managers, QA Team, Project Managers, Customer Care, and all the other roles that make our team strong and self-driven.
Your responsibilities could be:
- Investigate: Help get new features off to a great start by working closely with architects and product managers to define the solution
- Build: Implement new features, including coding, peer reviews, unit testing etc.
- Improve: Help improve the quality by bug fixing, the team’s process by recurring retrospectives and reduce technical debt by refactoring Our tech stack
- Our products are mainly written in C# using .NET6. Desktop applications use WPF, and our backend services consists of http (REST and SOAP) services, interfacing to sql server and file local system
- Cloud services written in C# (.NET6) hosted in Azure App services (using containers) and Azure functions
- We store all our code in Github and all code reviews, releasing etc. are done from here
- We currently use both TeamCity, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions for building and testing, with a strong push for moving towards Github Actions
About you:
We are looking for someone who is open-minded, eager to contribute, improve and learn, and someone who is focused on quality within software development. Preferably you have experience in the technologies mentioned above and match most of the following areas:
- Solid theoretical foundation from a degree in computer science, engineering, IT or similar
- Experience as a C# software developer
- Take ownership, see the big picture, and have a pragmatic approach
- Has a natural curiosity towards technological advancements and keeps up to date on .NET and software development in general
- Confident in English – written and oral
